The inspiration for this site was the impending arrival of a grandaughter who is now here. Meet Amelia Violet Johnson, who was born on October 6, 2004.

Amelia is now big sister to Daphne Piper Johnson who was born in the Chinese Year of the Dog and has inspired new projects which can be seen on the "Doggy Projects" page.

Granddaughter #3, Josie Laura Schweisguth, and her quilt are on the the "Bed Quilts" page.

This quilt, Hearts Full Of Love, was made to welcome Amelia.
